Design Dollies Time

Well another week has gone by which means I did another challenge with the Design Dollies! Did you know I won their June sketch challenge? Yay me!!! You can see the post HERE.

So I decided to do the TRIFECTA again. Nothing like a good challenge. If you don't know about the Trifecta that you can find out all about it HERE.

So this is the color for this week:

and the Elements challenge was to use ribbon in an unusual way?????

and here is the sketch:

So this is what I came up with:

I used Studio Calico rub-ons and then did a stitched ribbon trim with the photo. I also did some pink paint splatters but they didn't show up all that well in the photo.

Well I did is again. I played along at Sketchy Thursday again! I have to say I loved the sketch but I don't love my LO : (

I have been struggling with my 2-pagers in a really bad way. This time I think it was the color combo I went with and the paint.

Happy Canada day to my fellow Canucks!!!! We spent the day In Victoria taking in all of the fabulous festivities!!!!
