It's been a long time.

It has been a very long time since I have posted anything new on here. Well, the summer has been busy. We have had so many visitors and I have gone back to work as well as continuing with my triathlon training. So all that being said I really haven't been spending a lot of time on my scrapbooking. I did manage to squeeze in an evening a few nights ago and accomplished my July project 12.

Now it's not by best layout but what I love about it is that I added the kraft folder where I hid all of my journaling (because July really was that busy). I also tucked in a few photos that I didn't incorporate into the layout.
Anyways, on a sad summer note our yard was broken into sometime last week and we had over $500 worth of tools stolen. I don't care about the tools but we have a 1/2 acre yard and all I can think of is what if this person was lurking around when the kids were out there. Why do people have to do things like steal from others????
Anyways, hope everyone on the east coast are staying safe.

It's about time!

Do you know how long it's been since I scrapbooked for myself? Way too long!!! I have a whole bung of Studio Calico kits piling up in my scrap room that have been calling my name. I haven't bought any new supplies (besides my SC kits that ship automatically) in who knows how long. That just isn't like me. Although I'm sure hubby is thrilled I'm not spending money ; )
Anyways, this weekend Shimelle is having an online crop and I thought I would try and play along as much as I can. I starting with her mix and match sticker challenge.

I used parts of my Studio Calico kits as well as some Sassafras stickers, Basic Grey stickers, and AC Remarks stickers. I also used 3 different stamps and couldn't help but add some mists.
Here's hoping that I can do a lot more layouts!!!!
By the way, did you catch my post at Urban Swank yesterday? You can see it HERE!!!
