Trifecta Day

Happy Monday everyone! Is everyone coming down from their sugar high yet? I know I am doing everything I can to avoid any more treats. The bunny was very good to us : )

Today is Trifecta day over at the Design Dollies. We had a great colour combo this month:

An elements challenge full of buttons

I also have to share my latest Project 12. I am now in my second year of doing it. I have come very close to missing the deadline but alas I continue to succeed and get it done.

I used my Feb Studio Calico kit and some other goodies I had on hand. I love doing the monthly double layout. It's a great year in review at the end.

Better Late than Never

Hey everyone, so sorry I didn't post the latest Dollies sketch yesterday. Today it is here!

Kristy did a fabulous job on it didn't she??? Here is what I created...

Now I did get a little outside inspiration too, I actually was inspired by Kristy's sketch and another sketch that had some banners so I guess I used two this time.

More exciting news and some layouts

Hi everyone, happy wednesday. I can't believe we are already mid-week. Yikes! Where does the time go?

First up I have some more exciting news to share. I have been recently asked to join two more design teams. First is:

Practical Scrappers is an online magazine/challenge site. Some amazing inspiration to be found here. Today they are having a fabulous contest for a chance to win some yummy Bella Blvd goodies. Head on over HERE to get your name into the pot!

The other news is that I am now on the design team for Sketches 2 Scrapbook. They are a scrapbooking application for your iphone, ipad or itouch. If you haven't checked it out you should. Perfect for when you're at a crop and you need a little inspiration.

Lastly I created a few layouts for some contests. This first one is from the Stretch your sketch over at Ella Publishing.

Next is a layout I did using the April colour palette from Crate Paper.

I had a friend over this afternoon to get a little scrapbooking done. She is just starting out and doing awesome. Hopefully we'll get lots more days in.

Extra! Extra!

Well the time has come, I can finally spill the beans on my little secret. But first I share a recent layout (I'm so cruel) ; )

This is a layout I did last week using the Studio Calico weekly sketch. I used their March kit which is full of fabulous goodies. I also used my fancy Sew Easy tool which survived my parents big car crash last month.

Okay now I'll share my news. I have been asked to join the fabulous Design Team Urban Swank. So now I get to play with all sorts of fabulous Urban Lily products until my little heart desires. I am over the moon excited to work with all of the other fabulous ladies on the team. You can check out the announcement HERE. So keep checking back to see what I come up with.

New month, new challenges

Good morning, good morning. I hope you had a fabulous weekend. I've ben hearing about so many people getting dumped with snow. On the west coast it's been pretty nice although I'm wishing it were a bit warmer.

Onto funner things. The newest colour challenge is up at the Design Dollies. I decided to get a little artsy with this colour combo of Royal Blue, Orange, Lime Green and White. Here is what I came up with:
